Restoring a 1951 Cj3a
Do you have the instructions for proper weather seals and which way they should be applied?

I appreciate all the help you can provide.
First of all, thank you for putting this guide for those of us that are new to restoration. I do think it great that you are willing and able to help a newbie like me.
I am currently undertaking a frame off restoration of my 1959 CJ5 . I have had it since college and it has been sitting since 2011, started in the last 3 years or so.
Hi Blane ,
How is your project coming along. I also just started on my 1955-59 cj5.
First time doing something like this.
Working on 48 Willy’s pickup for 5 years. Many parts from Walck’s 4Wheel Drive. Original Go Devil engine, Drivable and Just had it painted. I have a donor 48 pickup 2wd and 4wd front and rear axles, all 5:35 gears.
I recently purchased a new fuel sending unit for my 53 PU from you and cannot get the gauge to respond to the unit. What should the full and empty ohm readings be on the sending unit. I had the gauge checked out by you several years ago so it should be fine.
what coil size(1.5 or 3 ohm) and plug wires( resistor type?) should be used with a omix electronic distributor for my willys m38 conversion to 12 volt?
Just getting started and my 53 is just a pile of parts.
